Women’s Summer Equip Book Club
Kristen Howell and Mattie Hatch are co-leading the women’s book club on Liturgy of the Ordinary by Tish Harrison Warren. From the back cover, “What if the overlooked routines of your day became sacred invitations? Liturgy of the Ordinary by Tish Harrison Warren is a gentle reminder that God’s presence is not just in the extraordinary but in the midst of the ordinary. Through the lens of her own daily life, Warren invites you to find holiness in the mundane and recognize how seemingly small, daily habits shape your spiritual growth.”
Register by May 10th and buy your own book! Have the first 4 chapters read by May 28th for the first discussion!

Men's Summer Equip: Recapturing The Wonder
Craig Hatch and Nick Storm are co-leading a book club on Recapturing the Wonderby Mike Cosper. From the back cover, “When we’re young, it’s easy to believe in the supernatural, the mysterious, the enchanted. But as we grow older, we learn to live as if miracles and magic have been drained from the world - even as Christians who believe in the resurrection.” This book charts out life-giving and practical spiritual disciplines that help cultivate wonder back into our disenchanted faith!
Register by May 10th and buy your own book! Have the first 4 chapters read by May 29th for the first discussion!
When and Where? Friday, May 29th at 6:30am at the church office. Both mens groups will meet at this time - one in the office and one in the garage. The tentative plan is to meet every two weeks. Subject to change depending on the group’s schedule.
Men's Summer Equip: Everything is Never Enough
Jarrod Howell is leading a book club on Everything is Never Enough by Bobby Jamieson. This book won The Gospel Coalition and Christianity Today’s Best Book Award for 2025!
From the back cover, “Does it feel like you should be happy, and want to be happy, and try to be happy, but somehow you just can’t be happy? One way to be unhappy is not getting what you most want. Another way is to get all you could possibly want…only to discover that everything is not enough. The writer of Ecclesiastes did it all. He had money, education, possessions, sex, and power—everything the modern world promises will bring joy—and yet he was never satisfied. And from his discontent, we benefit and find a surprisingly simple trail to lasting joy.”

Child Dedication
We firmly believe that children are a blessing from God and are incredibly important to him, therefore we love to celebrate them as a good gift of God. In addition, children come with a huge amount of responsibility. Quite simply, they need parents who are committed to modeling and helping them become godly men and women who trust and treasure Jesus above all else.
Some of you are meeting Jesus for the first time and want to dedicate your older child to the Lord and some of you are raising your little one(s) alone and have found a beautiful community of friends and family to partner alongside in your parenting journey.
In order to dedicate your child, we ask that you have attended our Parent Equipping Class on April 26th. If you are unable to attend, please reach out to Mattie to arrange another meeting time.

A prayer I have for the children of Grace Aledo is that the Lord would save them at a young age and they can trace the Lord’s faithful hand throughout all of their days.
Lunch is provided. This class is a requirement to participate in child dedications on May 3rd. If you are unable to attend, please contact Mattie to arrange another meeting time.
