Our Story of Grace
A Church Planting Legacy
We are part of a much bigger story — one that began long before us and will continue long after us.
It’s a story of churches planting churches for the glory of the Father, through the work of Jesus, and by the power of the Holy Spirit bringing people to life.
In 1845, the Southern Baptist Convention set out to take the gospel west. Over time, that mission led to a movement of multiplication — from First Baptist Lewisville, to Lakeland Baptist, to Highland Village First Baptist.
In 2002, under the leadership of Matt Chandler, that church became The Village Church and began planting churches across North Texas. City View Church was planted in 2006, The Paradox Church in 2011, and eventually Grace Church Southwest was formed to carry that same vision into the south and southwest regions of Fort Worth.
This is a story of multiplication — of ordinary people saying “yes” to Jesus.
Our Story
In 2022, Grace Church Aledo was planted as part of that same movement.
But this isn’t just our history — it’s what God is doing right now.
We believe God has placed us in Parker County for a purpose: to be a people who remain in Jesus and walk by faith.
A loved family of loving families — living on mission in everyday life.
Not just gathering on Sundays, but following Jesus in our homes, neighborhoods, and workplaces.
Because we believe how we live every day matters.
Where we’re headed
We’re asking God to do more than grow a church — we’re asking Him to build a sending people.
Our prayer is to become a hub for gospel movement — raising up leaders, making disciples, and planting churches across Parker County and beyond.
There’s Room for You.
This story is still being written. And there’s room for you in it.
You can step in by joining the family, praying, giving, or going — as we follow Jesus together and trust Him with what comes next.
